Following sold-out west coast shows with Sam Smith, Rolling Stone‘s 2026 Future of Music artist Saint Harison unveils his new single “stuck,” the latest release from his forthcoming EP ghosted, arriving May 29. “stuck” was written by Saint, Ilsey Juber(Beyoncé, Olivia Dean, Kacey Musgraves) and Natalie Roseblade, and produced by D’Mile (Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga) and Akeel Henry (Jazmine Sullivan, Giveon).
The new single feels nostalgic, drawing from 2000s pop/R&B. Showcasing Saint’s unmistakable vocal delivery over an infectious bassline and drum combo with eerie strings courtesy of D’Mile, the song features emotional clarity with understated intensity. The official music video, directed by Gabriel Dugue of OCURENS and shot in France, is also out now.
The song captures the push-and-pull of unresolved love, with Saint navigating the tension between longing and letting go — a theme that continues to shape the narrative arc of ghosted. On “stuck,” Saint leans into the conflicted emotions at the heart of the song, exploring the space between attachment and distance. Lines such as “All I do is think about your touch / I can’t have you and I can’t move on” capture the lingering pull of a relationship that refuses to fully fade, underscoring the raw honesty that defines the project.
Talking about the song, Saint shares: “The story of ‘stuck’ is so interesting because this theme was floating around my head for months and months, but when I tell you Akeel Henry picked up that bass (he also claims he’s not a bass player lol) and started playing that intro, it was immediate. I can’t even really remember the process of writing it because it just felt like a stream of consciousness. I sometimes struggle to write a song unless the events of the song literally took place on that day or in the week before, and this was one of those moments where the wounds were so fresh and the feelings were just eating me alive.”
Saint Harison has continued to build momentum, earning co-signs from Justin Bieber, SZA, Elton John, and Kehlani, alongside early industry praise following a sample by British superstar Dave. His viral COLORS performance of “ego talkin” led to a television debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and recognition as Apple Music’s global Up Next artist, further cementing his place as one of the most compelling new voices in contemporary pop and R&B.
Rolling Stone praised Harison as “a pop/R&B singer with honey-sweet vocals and a gift for singing about heartbreak,” noting that “part of Harison’s magnetism is his restraint.” The publication also highlighted the emotional precision of his songwriting, observing that “though sadness remains a thread throughout Harison’s music, so does self-awareness,” and describing his work as capturing “the small humiliations, the private revelations, and the conversations you replay at 2 a.m.“
Drawing inspiration from artists such as Amy Winehouse, Frank Ocean, Roy Orbison, Billie Eilish, Whitney Houston, and Jazmine Sullivan, his genre-fluid sound balances vulnerability with emotional clarity. His debut EP, lost a friend has surpassed 200 million streams globally, with subsequent releases — including “bad,” “ghosted,” “glass houses,” and most recently, “stuck” — continuing to expand the emotional and sonic world of the forthcoming project..
