It was released earlier than scheduled at the beginning of this week due to the unprecedented demand on social. Two legends coming together, it’s serving hottest collab of the summer.
Arriving in style, Susan surprised crowds with a Cornetto Max gondola at London’s Little Venice – Timothy Chamelet’s idol played the new viral track dressed head-to-toe in a limited-edition Cornetto Max velour tracksuit. The moment – equal parts nostalgia and maximalism – was met with scenes of delight from gathered fans and passers-by who had no idea what was coming.
Just One Cornetto (reMAXed) produced by Grammy-winning DJ and producer Alex Metric who has collaborated with the likes of Dua Lipa and Charli XCX, is officially released today with a limited number of nostalgic vinyl records available for lucky fans and the song available on Cornetto’s TikTok channel. He said, “It was so much fun to be involved in this project, I never thought I’d see the day where I remixed the legendary Just One Cornetto tune. It was a no brainer for me, who can say no to working with a British icon like Susan Boyle!”
Talking about the campaign, comeback queen Susan Boyle said, “I get contacted about brand work a lot but this one really appealed…it was serendipitous as I had been singing the original to myself just days before. When Cornetto asked me to reMAX the most iconic jingle in ice cream history, I said yes immediately. It is the type of song which makes you feel good and I think Alex Metric has done an amazing job with this mix. I never thought I would hear myself in a dance track but I love it!”
