Salt Lake City-based, punk-infused rockers, The Band Gooch, take center stage with the release of their adrenalized single, “GTA.” The song takes a classic punk energy to new heights, showcasing the group’s impressive talents.
“GTA” is built off choppy riffs and a lot of melody. Flipping between the buzzy bounce of classic era Green Dayand the earnest voice of Weezer, the band pulls equally from pop-punk and alt-rock. The result is a track that sounds huge despite its introspective nature.”
The track precedes their debut album, Modern High, due out July 12, 2019
