Tobias Bergson captures emotion on ‘Dream For Me’

Prolific producer and DJ Tobias Bergson is gearing up for the release of his new track ‘Dream For Me‘, which is slated for release on 24 July 2026 via PLAYY. Records. Boasting over a whopping 180 millionstreams across platforms and praise from DJ luminaries such as Don Diablo, Lost Frequencies and Steve Aoki. He has previously released via major labels Armada and Universal Music Austria, performed at venues and festivals like Spring Festival in Austria, and had his music featured on several Spotify editorial playlists. 

Tobias has garnered support from numerous publications, including DJ Mag, 1001 Tracklists, Mixmag Germany and Netherlands, YourEDM, Magnetic Magazine, House Music With Love, Electronic Groove and many others, as well as landing spins on radio stations such as CBC Music’s Afterdark, KCRW’s Metropolis, and RTÉ 2FM. Tobias is clearly on a meteoric rise as he steadily carves a name for himself in the industry, and shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon.

Bergson’s passion for music began at 17, not through traditional instruments but by immersing himself in programming and music production on his computer. The Austrian producer creates emotive, melancholic tracks that skillfully blend dancefloor euphoria with intimate emotiveness. At the heart of Bergson’s work is a desire to convey his emotions and experiences, resulting in intricate, haunting melodies that offer a melancholic yet familiar atmosphere. Inspired by Deadmau5, Ben Böhmer, Rampa and Chris Malinchak, his mesmerising tracks are reminiscent of a vast array of influences, with elements of deep house, techno, progressive, lounge, and house. 

‘Dream For Me‘ is melodic techno at its finest. Off-kilter synth stabs syncopated to interesting polyrhythms are accompanied by a booming bassline and punchy rhythm section. The track breaks down into a lush ambient soundscape before picking up the energy and reintroducing its lively percussion, carrying on till the end of the track. Tobias Bergson further solidifies his reputation as a premier producer within the electronic landscape with ‘Dream For Me’, a track sure to ensnare fans of Franky Wah, ARTBAT, Adriatique.

Tobias shared, “At the time I produced this track, I was listening to a lot of Yotto’s music and was also trying my hand at remixing a few songs. That’s how this track came about. I felt that the melody had something unique about it in its own subtle way—something special”
