South African native, Berlin resident WizTheMc brings to the UK shores his highly anticipated mixtape ‘Growing Teeth’, releasing on 31st January. Spearheaded by single ‘The One’, the project illuminates the quirky exuberance and undeniable talent behind this young artist.
‘Growing Teeth’ is the product of Wiz opening himself to the possibility of working with new musical collaborators. Prior to this he was completely self-sustaining; from production to song-writing, video direction to graphic design. Wiz and Hugo met early summer 2019, they vibed immediately and went to work. ‘Growing Teeth’ is one continuous feeling that they picked apart together, layer after layer. Contemporary echoes are from the likes of Dominic Fike, Duckwrth and even subtle inflections of Twenty One Pilots.
