Amera
EDM band Amera takes the definition of electronic dance music to the next level with a new self-titled EP. Instead of solely focusing on dance rhythms, they seem more like a prog rock band with electronica sensibilities. Tracks like “Shiver” feature a furious pace combined with delectable guitar runs and marvelous piano solos, not your usual EDM. Nonetheless, the songs are still danceable. The vocals from Brooke Adams hover between sultry jazz singer to hard rock icon with ease. While “Cobra” channels jazz pop songs, the new single “Connected” builds from a strong rock/pop song to a dense, NIN-style jam. A very innovative entry for the genre and definitely worth checking out.

Already performing hundreds of shows worldwide, Brooke Adams (Vocals), Mikael Oganes (Synths/Keys) and Donovan Butez (Guitar) have formed a trio which is ready to unveil their sound and sonic force with the power of a tidal wave. Also, crafted with organic smash of live performance the band is a modern fruit of musical adventure.
