Ed Roman

Ed Roman’s light, breezy vocals effortlessly embellish the country-rock tune “I Found God” with a sense of gratification and love.  As a proponent of green living and conservation in his native Ontario, this love is well-placed.  The new tune is found on the environmentally conscious compilation Our Green Earth.   Due to the theme, this song is ideally suited for the album.  God, in this context, is our Mother Earth and Ed lyrically plays on this contrast throughout the tune.  The electric guitar solo creates a sense of urgency within the otherwise calm, sedate presentation. Ed Roman has a strong voice, while his songwriting skills are subtle and clever.

Upon listening to the entire album, I found that every song seemed to bridge genres, making this a pleasantly diverse collection.  In addition to Ed, the album features Svenson, Allen Reed, Swift Timmy, Martin Williams and others.  Be sure to check out the video for “I Found God” below.  And by all means, you should listen to the entire album for some beautiful songs for our home.  I found Our Green Earth to be a winner.
