Joshua Idehen releases ‘Best Kind Of Lost’

An undeniable talent in the jazz / electronic scene and proving himself as a mainstay as he confidently enters 2023, Joshua Idehen releases ‘Best Kind Of Lost’.

The Sweden-based, British-born-Nigerian already has a number of extremely applaudable feats to his name: being recognised by NME as a ‘One To Watch’, having contributed vocals to two mercury award winning albums, worked alongside Kojey Radical, D Double E, Sons of Kemet, Jordan Stephens (of Rizzle Kicks), and supported Jacob Banks to close Idehen’s very enviable 2022.

The turn of 2023 lays way to many more success to add to Joshua’s timeline. Imminently driving this is the release of ‘Best Kind Of Lost’, the first and only instalment ahead of his next mixtape ‘Learn To Swim’ – out in April, the announcement of a UK tour with The Comet Is Coming, and his own headline tour.

Idehen’s lust for life has resonated with fans and critics alike with compliments on earlier releases from: The Times, The Telegraph, Clash Magazine, Mixmag, Notion, Afropunk, Trench, Beats Per Minute, Nothing But Hope and Passion as Joshua’s lyrical compassion and colourful instrumentation asserts him as a special talent.

Idehen collaborates with some of the most recognisable voices in the scene on his releases, including Sharlene Hector (Basement Jazz), Cleveland Watkiss (MBE), Heidi Vogel (Cinematic Orchestra) and Ade Omotayo (Amy Winehouse), the result is unsurprisingly stunning.
