Lily Lane isn’t just making music, she’s making a statement. Blending soul-soaked vocals with pop sparkle, the artist has carved out her lane as a bold performer and unapologetic advocate for body positivity, women, and LGBTQ+ rights. A former Wilhelmina Curve model turned soul-pop powerhouse, Lane’s appeal lies in her ability to pair glamour with honesty, delivering songs that feel both deeply personal and instantly anthemic.
Lane’s latest single “So Long, California” is a nostalgic, cinematic pop track written during her final month living in Los Angeles before moving back to New York after nearly five years on the West Coast. Exploring the complicated emotions of leaving behind a city that looked like the dream but never truly felt like home, the song captures the strange guilt of walking away from something that wasn’t wrong, just not right. “It felt like a breakup with someone who didn’t deserve it,” Lane explains. “It feels good but doesn’t feel right was something that was hard to grapple with, because it almost felt like LA didn’t deserve to be broken up with. But just because something isn’t bad doesn’t mean it is right for you.”
Lane’s dynamic sound and bold storytelling have also made her a rising name in the sync world, with placements across Pretty Little Liars, Netflix, HBO Max, Bravo, and major beauty campaigns. Her music has landed on coveted Spotify editorial playlists and earned praise from outlets including NYLON, Just Jared, and Earmilk. A natural performer, she has lit up stages from a sold-out headline show at The Peppermint Club to West Hollywood Pride opening for Jessie J and Madison Beer, as well as performing at Madison Square Garden for the Knicks. She has also shared bills with Big Time Rush, JoJo, and Hot Chelle Rae, as well as having made the podcast rounds—including appearances on Blunt Besties, Spout, BILF and The Kelly Alexander Show, among others.
Following her 2025 EP Domesticated, produced by Taylor Sparks, Lane brought the project’s world to stages in Los Angeles and New York City. In support of the release, she performed at New York Fashion Week for the Harper’s Bazaar x Crystal Waters Cover Party, as well as an inclusive lingerie runway show, continuing to build a reputation for performances that celebrate confidence, individuality, and self-expression.
