Rising artist Luminiah invites listeners into the raw, transcendent moment where vulnerability meets soul in her newest release, “chapter II: strawberry wine.” Inspired by the overwhelming feeling of encountering someone too good to be true, the track is a journey through surrender, sweetness, and the kind of love that dissolves fear.
Written spontaneously in the early hours of the morning after a late-night music session at friend and collaborator Jonas Oberstaller’s house, “strawberry wine” emerged from a moment of pure creative flow. “We were just jamming,” says Luminiah, “but then we both looked at each other and felt it—we had something real. That magic launched a whole new session that didn’t stop until the next night.”
The track channels a similar emotional wavelength to Chris Stapleton’s “Tennessee Whiskey,” paying lyrical reverence to its smooth, heartfelt resonance. Yet, “Strawberry Wine” stands firmly in its own sonic world—soulful, moody, uplifting, and rousing—with Luminiah’s distinct voice and vision at the center.
“chapter II: strawberry wine” is more than a love song—it’s about dissolving into the beauty of connection, even when it feels too good to be true,” the artist reflects. “It’s about letting go, even when the heart trembles.”
