Berlin-based creative MIN t has unveiled her latest self-released single ‘Last Day, which premiered on CLASH Magazine. The track is the second single from her upcoming album Before The After which will be released on 8 May 2026, and follows the release of her single ‘Hope’ and the accompanying video which premiered on METAL Magazine. Since moving to Berlin in 2015 from Poland, MIN t has supported globally-renowned artists such as HVOB, Angel Haze, Jess Glynne and Vitalic. She has performed over 300 live shows at prominent festivals across Europe, including Reeperbahn Festival (DE), Off Festival (PL), Orange Warsaw Festival (PL), Open’er Festival (PL) and Y Not Festival (UK).Additionally, MIN t embarked on a European tour last November with singer-songwriter Saya Noé and electronic pop producer OIEE, where they performed in Budapest, Prague, Berlin, Warsaw, Wrocław and Bochum.
MIN t, who is the creative alter ego of Martyna Kubicz, is a singer, songwriter, composer, producer and mix engineer, who graduated from the Berklee College of Music campus in Valencia, Spain after receiving a scholarship at the renowned institution. During her time at Berklee College of Music, she was the first Polish woman to be mentored by revered sound engineer and professor Susan Rogers, who is known for her work with Prince. MIN t’s 2021 album Shot To Pieces was co-produced by acclaimed British producer, composer and guitarist Leo Abrahams, who has worked with the likes of Adele, Jon Hopkins, Brian Eno and Regina Spektor.
MIN t’s musical journey began as a child at just 7-years-old when she began studying classical piano, and spent 12 years at a music school in Wrocław, Poland. MIN t also participated in children’s musical theatre as well as ballet, which formed a fertile foundation for her music career as she grew artistically and developed her sound. After discovering jazz, electronic music, pop and soul as a teenager, she started writing her own music at 16-years-old and began participating in bands. However, when she turned 18 she started learning how to produce music using Ableton, which cemented her path as an artist. Today, MIN t describes her sound as genreless, as it’s a concoction of electronic music, pop and R’nB, while she draws inspiration from the likes of Aphex Twin, Autechre, Charli xcx, D’Angelo, FKA twigs and Aretha Franklin.
‘Last Day’ is sure to strike a chord with fans of Bicep, Overmono and FKA twigs, while the singleshowcases a softer and more vulnerable side of MIN t. The single was produced and mixed by MIN t, mastered by Conor Dalton and the lyrics were written by MIN t and her sister Patrycja Kubicz. Thematically, the track deals with life, death and destruction, as well as questions around existentialism. Although the lyrics and theme are quite solemn, the sound design provides a superb sense of balance throughout the swirling breakbeat-inspired production and MIN t’s silken vocal melodies.
MIN t revealed: “The end of the world as we know it is approaching fast. Or maybe it’s already here? It’s easy to get lost in the flood of cruelty, disasters, and wars. They quickly become mundane, blending into one grotesque vision. Meanwhile, the illusion of comfort only serves as a reminder of our helplessness. The song “Last Day on Earth” is about that very sense of boredom that refuses to fade, and about giving up the fight—even for one’s own survival. “
