Reina Mora
Reina Mora is a new LA talent that features the strong, beautiful vocals of Leeane Melendez. Gracefully imparting the emotional impact of her songs, she bases her tunes on the music of her Puerto Rican roots. Most noteworthy is her lyricism, honest and evocative. “Brighter Sky” is an uplifting, positive song with some gorgeous guitar work. Yet her cover of Ryan Adams’ “If I Was A Stranger” mines a much darker territory. The minimal instrumental accompaniment allows us to focus on her voice and all its power. Her songs are thoughtful and especially relevant to women. As a result, her new album is definitely something to anticipate.

Reina Mora is the musical brainchild of a singer/songwriter Leeane Melendez from Puerto Rico currently residing in Los Angeles, CA. She has just released her single “Trouble”. Her influences are deeply rooted in Puerto Rican roots inspired by Plena, Baladas and Salsa but she blends that along with timeless music making sure all instruments are
played live. She is currently in the studio completing her album “Birds Eye View” with producer Omer Avni. It will show her range of different styles while still remaining true to her unique sound.
